C O U R S E   D E S C R I P T I O N

This course will examine the policy problems and issues concerned with the formation of a political architecture of the global system. The course will be divided into three segments:

a.       The economic, political and cultural context of the globalisation: A general overview

1.      A geopolitical/geoeconomic view of the globalisation

2.       The current transition in the model of world order

b.       Scenario

1.      The tendency toward international disorder

2.       The global integration of democracies as a possible solution

c.        Strategy

1.       The "euroamerican" convergence

2.       The "Grand Alliance" model
